With a background that spans from NYU’s Stern Business School to leading auction houses Christie’s and Sotheby’s, the blue-chip gallery Perrotin, and the strategic world of advertising at DDB Paris, Laura has built a career at the intersection of culture, business, and creativity. Working on brands like Hennessy, Volkswagen, and Lactel, she developed a deep understanding of consumer insights and market positioning.
She started her career in New York at the JR art studio, where she honed her expertise in visual storytelling and cultural strategy. After six years in the city, she returned to Paris and joined Sotheby’s European private sales department, where she played a key role in developing new business models tailored to the evolving secondary art market : setting Sotheby’s as a leader in discreet, high-value transactions.
More recently, she oversaw exhibition curation, market intelligence, and sales strategy at Galerie Perrotin. Directing immersive shows, she created links between pioneers, trends and inspirations. She researched artistic currents, artists and practices within larger cultural scopes. Among others, her projects include the legacy of NY underground scene with Basquiat x Haring x Warhol, and the parallel between two contemporary minimalistic masters : Lee Ufan and Pierre Soulages.
Working closely with collectors, institutions, and artists' estates, Laura has leveraged her strategic expertise to bridge business and creativity, helping to shape the way contemporary art is presented, sold, and experienced.
