Basquiat x Haring x Warhol

SERVICES
Branding, curation and event production.

As the first show of the gallery under its new name, it marked a pivotal moment to define the identity shift from Perrotin to Bastok Lessel. The gallery needed to establish itself with a distinct identity—one that would reaffirm its expertise in the secondary market while conveying a bold, independent vision.

The strategic curation focused on three artists whose visual language remains deeply embedded in pop culture: Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Andy Warhol. As key figures of the 1980s New York art scene, their instantly recognizable imagery shaped the aesthetics of contemporary art, bridging the gap between fine art and mass culture.

By carefully curating over twenty works, the inaugural show not only honored their interconnected legacies but also positioned the gallery as a leading force in the secondary market.

To demonstrate continuity in excellence while embracing a fresh, contemporary perspective, The exhibition offered an immersive experience featuring Cecile Degos’ scenography plunging the viewer in each artist’s environment combined with a musical journey throughout. The gallery established itself as a space where historical significance meets a contemporary, forward-thinking vision.
